Dr. Ramya M, BAMS, MS (Ayu), is a consulting Ayurvedic doctor with five years of clinical experience. She completed her BAMS from SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi—one of India’s premier institutes for Ayurvedic education—and earned her MS in Ayurveda from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru, a leading postgraduate institution in the state. In her final year, she was awarded a Gold Medal by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru.
During her post-graduation, Dr. Ramya received specialized training in ENT and eye surgery at MINTO Hospital and Victoria Hospital, Bengaluru, gaining valuable hands-on experience in managing a wide range of surgical conditions.
Her clinical expertise includes the Ayurvedic and integrative management of eye and ENT disorders such as myopia, cataract, sinusitis, nasal polyps, tonsillitis, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, oral and dental health issues. She also treats conditions such as varicose veins, non-healing ulcers, and various hormonal and lifestyle-related disorders. Dr. Ramya presented a thesis on tonsillitis to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and has successfully treated 40 cases with a 93% success rate. She has published three articles on hearing loss, nasal polyps, and tonsillitis in national and international journals and has presented papers at the International Ayurveda Conference.
